Jeff Stout

Jeff Stout is an experienced electrical engineering professional currently serving as Associate - Electrical Team Lead in Buildings Engineering at Stantec since June 2017. In this role, responsibilities include project management and coordination of shallow utility design, buildings electrical systems, and street lighting design for both the City of Calgary and Alberta transportation. Jeff also contributes as a Subject Matter Expert at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, where a new Buildings Systems course was designed for the Civil Engineering Technology diploma. Previous roles include positions as a Field Service Technician at Magna IV Engineering, Journeyman Electrician with Iconic Electric and Controls and Canem Systems Ltd., and Electrician with Pyramid Corporation and Can-Alta. Stout holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from SAIT and a Red Seal certification as an Electrician, along with early education in electrical skills and leadership in various technical roles.
