Jian Li, Ph.D., P.Eng., PE, is currently the Business Center Practice Leader for Water at Stantec, where they are accountable for driving growth across the Southwestern Ontario region. With 20 years of diversified experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, Jian specializes in hydraulic and process design, along with environmental assessments. They have held various roles at Stantec, including Water/Wastewater Treatment Team Lead and Senior Environmental Engineer, and have contributed to numerous technical journals and Water Environment Federation documents. Jian earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering focused on wastewater treatment from Meiji University and has a Master’s in Municipal Engineering from Tongji University.
