Jie Liao

Jie (Fran) Liao is currently a Principal Civil Engineer at Stantec. They have extensive experience in civil engineering, having previously served as an Associate Engineer at SMEC, where they led drainage design for major projects such as the Canberra Light Rail. Prior to that, Jie was an Engineer at Calibre, contributing to significant infrastructure projects, and a Graduate Engineer at GHD, focusing on hydraulic design and water management for local councils. Jie earned a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering with First Class Honours from Monash University.
