Jillian Wheatley

Jillian Wheatley is an experienced environmental professional with a diverse background in ecology and natural resource management. With a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Restoration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Jillian has held various roles including Environmental Technician at McTavish Resource & Management Consultants Ltd., Terrestrial Biologist at Keystone Environmental, and Intermediate Vegetation Ecologist at Stantec. Additional experience includes positions such as School Garden Coordinator at Edible Garden Project, Park Ranger at the District of North Vancouver, and Habitat Biologist for the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations. Jillian's expertise is complemented by active participation in the Joint Health and Safety Committee and previous roles focused on soil and ecology research, farming coordination, and fundraising supervision.
