John Cobley

John Cobley is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 40 years of experience in consulting and local authorities, currently serving as a Senior Principal Civil Engineer at Stantec on a part-time basis. Previously, John held significant roles including Associate Director at AECOM UK and Technical Director at Arcadis, where they led large teams on major drainage and sewerage projects, notably contributing to the design of 80 km of HS2. John's expertise includes designing flood alleviation schemes and conducting Flood Risk Assessments, as well as mentoring junior staff throughout their career. They earned a BSc in Civil Engineering from Aston University.
