Dr. John Kabouris is a wastewater and biosolids process specialist with over two decades of experience. They have conducted internationally recognized research on computer modeling of wastewater treatment and co-digestion processes, and coauthored a significant Water Environment Federation document on fat, oil, and grease management. They have held roles as project manager and engineer across various esteemed organizations, including Carollo Engineers, CH2M HILL, and MWH Global. Currently, Dr. Kabouris serves as a Senior Wastewater and Biosolids Process Specialist at Stantec while pursuing an MBA in International Business at the University of Miami and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. They also contribute as an associate editor for the Journal of Water Environment Research.
