John Trygstad

John Trygstad is a retired professional with extensive experience in the mining and mineral processing industry. They served as Superintendent of Surface Operations at Deserado Mine from 1982 to 1987, followed by a role as Manager of Operations at Brushy Creek Coal Company from 1987 to 1997. They have been a Senior Consultant in Mineral Processing and Manager of Coal Preparation at Stantec since 1997 and are currently retired from Stantec Consulting International Inc. John holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
