Jon Noad

Jon Noad is a Senior Palaeontologist at Stantec, bringing over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including roles in exploration and development geology across multiple international locations. They have an extensive teaching background, having served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta and held a Professorship at Delft University of Technology. Jon's past positions include Exploration Manager at Murphy Oil Canada, where they successfully led a team to discover new gas and shale oil plays. With a PhD in Sedimentology from the University of London, they are also a qualified Professional Geologist in Alberta and have developed numerous training programs for geologists.
