Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is an experienced consulting operations leader and project manager with over two decades of international consulting experience and a 15-year background in operations management. Currently, they lead the operations for the Environmental Services team at Stantec in British Columbia and the Yukon, focusing on performance oversight, resource management, and team development. Previously, they held several key positions, including Chief Operating Officer at Verterra Ecological Engineering and Associate Regional Manager at Golder, where they significantly improved business profitability and streamlined operations. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University and a Diploma of Technology in Environmental Science from Camosun College.
