Joshua Bent

Joshua Bent is an experienced Civil Designer currently employed at Stantec since October 2025. Prior to this role, Joshua worked at VHB as a Senior Civil Designer from January 2017 to October 2025, and previously served as a Senior Engineering Designer at Stantec from June 2013 to January 2017, where responsibilities included managing the civil engineering scope for various projects. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Construction Manager/Designer at AVID Group and Senior Civil Designer/Construction Representative at Hamilton Engineering & Surveying, Inc., managing multiple projects and maintaining client relationships. Joshua began the career as an Engineering Technician at Hillsborough County, assisting with site planning and rezoning requests. Educationally, Joshua attended Hillsborough Community College and Seminole State College of Florida.
