Karl Vaughan

Karl Vaughan is a Senior Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec, bringing over twenty-two years of experience in ground engineering consultancy and contracting across public and private sectors. They have managed a diverse range of projects, from small undertakings to those exceeding £100 million, addressing complex ground conditions with tasks including deep excavations, earthworks, and slope stability. Karl has worked at companies such as Ewan Group PLC, Black and Veatch, and TerraConsult, and has been involved in all stages of project management, from desk study to construction support. They hold a Ph.D. from Liverpool John Moores University, where they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering Construction.
