Kyle Lane

Kyle Lane is an accomplished Assistant Project Manager at Stantec since March 2025, with extensive experience as a professional musician since June 2001, specializing as a composer and arranger. Notable achievements include the orchestration of original works for the Grammy-winning band Ranky Tanky and a commissioned fanfare for the Gaillard Center in Charleston. Kyle has created a diverse range of music, covering string parts for jazz arrangements and choral pieces for orchestras, while also arranging music for varied ensembles, including a 9-piece polka band. As a trumpet player, performances include collaborations with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra, Broadway’s Mary Poppins, and several other musical groups. Prior roles include General Manager of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Mac Genius at Apple. Kyle holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Oberlin College and a Master's degree in Trumpet Performance from Mannes College of Music.
