Lauren Meyer

Lauren Meyer, P.E. is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with extensive experience spanning over a decade in the field. Currently serving as an Associate Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec since January 2018, Lauren focuses on tailing storage facility design and maintenance for mining operations across the Americas, including geotechnical investigations and dam safety inspections. Prior to this, Lauren worked at Engineering Analytics, Inc. where responsibilities included forensic geotechnical projects, construction defect investigations, and dam rehabilitation. Academic involvement includes a significant role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in geothermal energy geotechnics and mentoring undergraduates. Lauren holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
