Luis Arcos

Luis Arcos is a seasoned professional in the mining and construction sectors, currently serving as the Mining Leader at Stantec Chile since March 2020. Prior to this role, Luis held the position of Executive Director at Geotechnos for two years and spent nearly two decades at Golder Associates, progressing through various leadership roles including Mine Waste and Construction Division Leader for Latin America, Managing Director responsible for Chilean operations, and Risk & Opportunity Leader in South America. Throughout their career, Luis has managed large teams, overseen substantial projects, and implemented risk management strategies across multiple countries in Latin America. Luis Arcos holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University and a postgraduate degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
