Mark Johnston

Mark Johnston is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in the field of planning and operations management. Currently serving as the Regional Operations Director for Stantec’s Infrastructure division in Scotland since October 2020, Mark has held various significant roles at Stantec, including Planning Director and Senior Associate Planner. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Associate at Peter Brett Associates, where responsibilities included managing planning applications and environmental assessments. Mark also served as Associate Director at Stephen Little & Associates in Dublin, focusing on diverse areas such as Retail Impact Assessment and environmental impact. Prior to these roles, Mark worked as a Planning Consultant at RPS Group and held planning assistant positions at both Northern Ireland Civil Service and Wycombe District Council. Mark holds an MA(Hons) in Town Planning from Heriot-Watt University.
