Melissa Carter

Melissa Carter is a Vice President at Stantec, where they focus on water and natural resources engineering and project management. With over 20 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, they have specialized in wet weather projects aimed at reducing sewer overflows that affect water quality. Melissa’s career includes roles as a Project Engineer at several firms and positions such as Principal Engineer and Watershed Manager. Currently, they serve as chair of the BSCES Committee on Sustainability. Melissa holds a BCE in Civil Engineering and an MS in Environmental Engineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
