Melody Kidd

Melody Kidd, EIT, is an experienced professional in electrical design and project management, currently serving as a Project Manager and Electrical Designer at Stantec since November 2017, where responsibilities include lighting design for NYC MTA subway renovation projects and leading the electrical design for the Avalara Monsey NY TI project. Prior to Stantec, Melody worked as a Lighting Designer at Luma Lighting Design, focusing on lighting layouts for various building types using CAD software and Adobe tools. Earlier experience includes serving as an Electrical Designer at Interface Engineering, with a focus on engineering schematics and compliance with electrical codes, and as an Electrical Intern working on diverse projects. Melody's career began at the University of Portland as a Tool Room Worker/Manager, supporting engineering students. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland and ongoing studies for a Master of Design in Design for Human Health at Boston Architectural College.
