Merlin Maley

Merlin Maley is a seasoned professional in architecture and transit design, currently serving as Senior Principal and Western Region Transit Director at Stantec since January 2005. In this role, Maley focuses on creating balanced design solutions for transit agencies, municipalities, and government organizations across the southwestern United States, the Rocky Mountains, the Northwest, and Antarctica. In addition to this position, Maley is the CEO of yUM Altitude Ideas, LLC, which produces CAUTION Hot Sauce. Maley has previously held roles including Committee Chair for AIA Denver's Committee on the Environment in 2010, as well as internships at JG Johnson Architects and McStain Neighborhoods. Maley's educational background includes a MA and MLA in Architecture and Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a BENVD in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder.
