Michael Bauer

Michael Bauer is a seasoned mechanical engineer and Buildings Practice Leader for Alberta at Stantec since October 2020. In this role, Michael collaborates with other leaders to drive teamwork across Alberta’s building projects, leveraging extensive experience in business development, project delivery, and quality management. Prior to Stantec, Michael held roles such as Associate Mechanical Engineer at DIALOG and Building Services Manager at MPE Engineering Ltd., managing multi-discipline engineering teams for various building types. Michael also served as Principal at Hemisphere Engineering, directing significant projects and ensuring client satisfaction. Michael began as an Engineer in Training at Alphair Ventilating Systems Inc. after earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
