Michael Morgenroth

Michael Morgenroth is a seasoned professional in the field of hydropower and dams, currently serving as Principal at Stantec since May 2019. With a strong background in engineering, Morgenroth has held significant positions at Regional Power Inc. as VP Engineering and Director of Engineering from August 2015 to March 2019, and at Hatch from 2005 to 2015 as Associate in Renewable Power and Manager of Wind Power Technologies. Beginning a career at Acres International in the Mechanical Department from 1995 to 2005 and earlier as Entwicklungsingenieur at Erhard Armaturen, Morgenroth possesses extensive expertise in mechanical engineering. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, a Post-Doc from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and a Dipl. Ing. in Maschinenbau from the University of Stuttgart.
