Mike Morris is a Chartered Ecotist and a restoration conservationist with a strong focus on landscape-scale and integrated catchment systems management. With over 20 years of experience in conserving and restoring various habitats and species, they have held leadership roles in both not-for-profit and commercial sectors. Currently serving as a Technical Director at Stantec, Mike leads stakeholder engagement efforts on nature-based solutions and integrated catchment systems while also overseeing eDNA work in the UK and Ireland. Previously, they were the Chief Executive Officer of the Severn Rivers Trust, where they spearheaded one of the largest river restoration programs in the UK and Europe. Mike also chairs the Severn Uplands Flood Forum, providing advocacy for nature-based flood management solutions.
