Moktar Gabriel, PE, LC, is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in design and construction supervision of electrical and lighting distribution systems and traffic signals across various applications, including highways, parks, and educational facilities. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at WA Engineering, PLLC since June 2012, Moktar has also held prominent roles at STV and Stantec, focusing on similar projects since 2004 and 2003, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Chief Engineer at the NYC Department of Transportation, where oversight of street lighting projects was essential, and earlier positions at the NYC Department of General Services, managing energy conservation and lighting design.
