Monique Staals, P.Eng, PMP, is a Business Center Operations Leader in the Energy & Resources sector at Stantec and has cultivated a diverse career in project management and engineering. Monique's journey began as a mechanical design engineer in Vancouver, where a passion for technical problem-solving and team building emerged. With experience in various industries, including pulp and paper, hydro power, and mining, Monique has demonstrated expertise in construction, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, Monique co-founded Sailbot, the largest engineering student team at UBC, and remains committed to fostering collaboration and curiosity within teams.
