Niclas Åstrand is a Senior Associate and the Regional Sector Leader for Wastewater at Stantec, where they are passionate about driving advancements in the field. Previously, they served as a Senior Wastewater Process Engineering Leader at Sweco Environment from 2006 to 2018, and as a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions until it became Veolia in 2022. With earlier experience as a Process Engineer Manager and Process Engineer at Örebro kommun, Niclas brings a wealth of expertise in wastewater treatment and system optimization.
