Nigel Denby

Nigel Denby is the Senior Vice President of Geotechnical at Stantec Consulting Ltd., bringing 30 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry. They have held leadership roles, including Geotechnical Practice Leader for Western Canada and Division Manager at Jacques Whitford prior to its acquisition by Stantec. Nigel specializes in a variety of geotechnical projects, ranging from building foundations to large industrial facilities, as well as LNG and port developments. With a strong background in engineering, strategic planning, and project management, they focus on delivering practical solutions for complex engineering challenges. Nigel holds a B.A.Sc and M.Eng. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, along with a Certificate of Achievement in Business from Queen's University.
