Otto Chen is a PhD holder and Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in hydrology, civil engineering, and construction management. They served as a Technical Manager and Project Manager at MWH from 2008 to 2014 and worked as a Construction Site Manager at Honor Construction and Engineering Corporation from 2003 to 2008. Otto has also held academic positions, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Exeter in 2024, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Honorary Research Associate at the University of Bristol from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are a Senior Hydrologist and Principal Water Resources Consultant at Stantec, set to begin in 2024.
