Peter Wells

Peter Wells is a Senior Principal Engineer and Project Manager at Stantec, where they have worked since 2017, currently focusing on major projects related to Ash Dam operation and closure. Peter has held various leadership roles, including NSW Engineering Manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff and Mechanical Engineering Manager at WorleyParsons. They possess extensive technical expertise in slurry and water handling, heavy manufacturing, and product development, complemented by a strong background in business development across the industry, energy, and resource sectors. Peter earned a Master of Engineering in Mechanical by research from the University of Technology Sydney and holds multiple degrees, including a Graduate Diploma in Business and Technology from UNSW.
