Raghu Ande

Raghu Ande is a Sustainability Design Engineer at Stantec since July 2025, focusing on energy modeling for H1 compliance and daylight analysis. With extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury since November 2019, Raghu instructs various engineering courses and manages labs. Previous roles include Sustainability Design Engineer at Cosgroves Ltd and TM Consultants Ltd, where Raghu led sustainability initiatives across numerous projects. Raghu's background also includes serving as an Energy Surveyor at BRANZ and a Research Assistant at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research. Raghu holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, a Master of Engineering in Heat and Power from Birla Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology.
