Richard Norreys

Richard Norreys is an Environmental Modeller at Stantec, with over two decades of experience in collecting field data and building numerical models for environmental systems, particularly in the Water and ReInsurance Industries. They previously held roles as Principal Scientist at CoreLogic® EQECAT™, where they managed Flood Peril modeling, and as Principal Engineer at MWH, focusing on river quality and flood modeling. Richard's educational background includes a PhD in Water Quality Modelling from The University of Salford and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London. Their expertise spans water quality modeling, hydrology, and data science, utilizing tools such as SQL, R, and Python.
