Robert J. (“BJ”) Allen, PE, CHC, is a professional mechanical engineer licensed to practice in several states, including Connecticut and Virginia. BJ served as the Director of Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering at Barton Associates, Inc. from 2016 to 2022 and is currently the Principal and Healthcare Sector Lead at Stantec since 2024. Before joining Stantec, BJ worked as the Director of Healthcare Construction at Warfel Construction Company from 2022 to 2024. BJ earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College in 1995 and has also completed credits towards a Mechanical Engineering Technology major at Virginia Highlands Community College.
