Robert Smith has extensive experience in environmental services, currently serving as Vice President and Principal Commercial Sector Lead for Environmental Services at Stantec since January 2009. Smith joined Stantec through the acquisition of Jacques Whitford and has since been responsible for the management and development of the company's insurance sector. In December 2011, Smith became the national commercial sector lead, focusing on aligning Stantec's services with client businesses. Previously, Smith held a BD position at Field Hall from 2000 to 2016 and served on the board of directors at Rotary Moncton from 2013 to 2014. Smith holds a BSc in Geology from Memorial University and a BSc in Geological Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
