Robert Tipton

Robert Tipton currently serves as the Business Center Operations Leader at Stantec, a role held since August 2020, where responsibilities include managing the North Central Transportation business center, focusing on talent retention, resource management, operations, service delivery, and financial performance. Previously, Robert held the position of Senior Structural Manager within Stantec's Chicago Transportation group, concentrating on project delivery, team mentoring, and strategic initiatives. Prior experience includes positions at Alfred Benesch & Company as Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer, as well as a Staff Engineer at Halvorson and Partners. Robert holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Duke University.
