Ron Howieson has over 25 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field. Currently serving as Vice President and Regional Business Leader at Stantec since January 2009, Ron has held multiple leadership roles including Senior Principal and Office Leader for the Markham office. Prior to Stantec, Ron worked at Jacques Whitford as Principal and Area Manager for North and Central Ontario, and held the position of Operations Manager at Soil-Eng Ltd. Ron holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Toronto, obtained between 1981 and 1985.
