Ryan Abrey

Ryan Abrey is a Principal Civil & Coastal Engineer at Stantec, where they lead a team focused on water-related projects. Abrey previously held positions as a Hydraulic & Coastal Engineer, Senior Civil & Coastal Engineer, and Acting Wellington Delivery Lead at Stantec, demonstrating a strong background in engineering roles. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Engineer at PRDW Consulting Port and Coastal Engineers and as a Site Engineer at Wilson Bayly Holmes Ovcon. Abrey earned a Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a BSc in Civil Engineering with Honours from the University of Cape Town.
