Sarah Smith

Sarah Smith is an Associate Archaeologist and Project Manager at Stantec since May 2021, with extensive experience in cultural resource management across British Columbia. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a Senior Archaeologist and Project Manager at Wood, overseeing various projects, and held a position as an Archaeologist/Project Manager at Amec Foster Wheeler, where responsibilities included project management, cost estimation, and report authorship. Previous experience includes positions with Arcas Consulting Archaeologists Ltd., Katzie Development Corporation Ltd., and Landsong Heritage Consultants Ltd., focusing on mitigative excavations and archaeological assessments. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Heritage Resource Management from Simon Fraser University, a Project Management Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Classical Studies from The University of British Columbia, complemented by study at the University of Melbourne.
