Simon AUVERGNE

Simon Auvergne is a Senior Principal Engineering Geologist at Stantec and has extensive experience in geotechnics, geology, and tunnelling. They previously served as Geotechnical Manager for the Melbourne Metro Project, overseeing a team of geologists and implementing geotechnical works. Simon's experience includes roles with Bouygues Construction, where they managed geotechnical efforts for multiple challenging tunnel projects, and Gamuda Australia, where they led geotechnical operations on various tenders. They hold a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Polytech Grenoble and are a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia and a Chartered Geologist with the London Geological Society.
