Sophie Lee

Sophie Lee is a highly experienced civil engineer and project manager with a robust background in infrastructure and flood alleviation projects. Beginning a career as an Assistant Project Manager and Site Supervisor at the Environment Agency, Sophie contributed to significant projects such as the Upper Mole Flood Alleviation Scheme and the Thames Barrier crane replacement. Progressing through roles at Jacobs Engineering, including Principal Engineer and Technical Director for the HPC project, Sophie effectively managed multimillion-pound contracts. At Baker Hughes, Sophie led a major subsea gas extraction project, and later served as Senior Project Manager at Blue Compass. Currently, Sophie holds the position of Transmission and Distribution Director at Stantec, focusing on the development of T&D networks in the UK. Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick.
