Stephen Cox

Stephen Cox is a seasoned professional in economics and regeneration, currently serving as the Director of Economics and Regeneration at Stantec since February 2022. With a robust background that includes roles such as Head of Economics & Business Cases and Projects Director at Mott MacDonald, as well as a Technical Director at ECORYS UK, Stephen has extensive experience in economic and social development, particularly in integrated transport. Additionally, Stephen has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Aston University and the University of Glasgow, specializing in corporate social responsibility and regeneration processes. Stephen holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Local Economic Development from the University of Glasgow, complemented by an Executive Certificate in Economic Development from Harvard Kennedy School.
