Stephen Kearney

Stephen Kearney serves as Principal - Urban Planner at Stantec since February 2014, following a tenure as Project Director/Urban Planner at Goody Clancy. Kearney has led diverse urban planning initiatives, including community district plans and neighborhood transformations in various cities. Notable projects include the Columbus, OH neighborhood master plan and Baltimore, MD mixed-income neighborhood transformation. Prior experience includes Deputy Director of Planning for the City of Syracuse, where Kearney coordinated large-scale redevelopment initiatives and managed the City’s brownfield projects. Kearney holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College.
