Steve Howery

Steve Howery is currently the Senior Director of Global Security at Stantec, where they align business risk with mitigation strategies and oversee security operations for a global consulting firm. They have previously served as a Colonel in Military Intelligence with the US Army and held executive roles, including Vice President and General Counsel at Mentis Broadband and Director of Risk Management at Innovyze, Inc. Steve’s extensive international experience spans Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, advising senior leaders on security challenges in high-risk environments. They hold a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College and are pursuing a Juris Doctor at Oklahoma City University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Journalism from Stephen F. Austin State University.
