Stuart Szylak

Stuart Szylak is an experienced environmental and planning consultant with a career spanning several roles in prominent firms, including Halcrow, RPS Group, ERM, and SAS Environment and Planning Limited. Beginning as a Planning Consultant at Halcrow from 1997 to 2002, Stuart focused on environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies for diverse development projects. Following that, a tenure as Senior Environmental Consultant at RPS Group included managing significant wastewater treatment projects. As a Principal Environmental Consultant at ERM from 2007 to 2014, Stuart specialized in preparing and managing Environmental Impact Assessments and planning applications. In 2014, a transition to SAS Environment and Planning Limited as Senior Environmental Planner led to the establishment of a consultancy firm, where Stuart applies extensive expertise in EIA project management, planning advice, and stakeholder consultation. Currently serving as Associate Environmental Planner at Stantec, Stuart holds a degree in Town and Country Planning from Heriot Watt University.
