Umesha Halekote

Umesha Halekote is a Principal Hydraulic Modeller at Stantec, with over 17 years of experience in the planning, designing, and modelling of water and wastewater network systems. Umesha previously held roles at CDM Smith and has grown within Stantec from Hydraulic Modeller to leadership positions, managing diverse projects for UK water companies and international clients. Umesha is an active member of CIWEM, serving on the Professional Standards Committee and the Business Science Sub Committee, and contributes to mentoring aspiring professionals. Umesha earned a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering, both with distinction, and is currently pursuing further qualifications in water and environmental management.
