Fiona Lavan

Board Advisor at Stanton Chase

Fiona joined Stanton Chase Sydney in 1988 and became an Equity Partner in 1998. She was appointed to the International Board as Vice Chair Regions and Regional Vice President Asia Pacific in 2011, roles she held until the end of 2014. She has successfully conducted searches for clients in Agribusiness; Financial Services (particularly Private Equity & Trade Finance); Higher Education; Industrial; Life Sciences & Healthcare; and Logistics & Transportation, across Australia, the Pacific and into Asia. She has also developed a strong practice in the appointment of Non-Executive Directors to statutory authorities and other public and private sector organizations. Fiona’s professional background is in investment banking, having spent several years in both corporate banking and international treasury with Australian, Japanese and British banks. She is a graduate in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Monash University and has completed studies in finance through the Securities Institute of Australia. She is a member of the Executive Search working group of the 30% Club in Australia.

Fiona is actively involved in the community. She is a Director of the Rotary Club of Sydney Cove and has been a member of the Australian Red Cross Fundraising Committee.
