Peter Stanton

Peter V. Stanton is a seasoned public relations professional with over 40 years of diverse experience, currently serving as CEO of Stanton Communications, Inc. since July 1989. As a founding partner of both Joe Communications GmbH and Melius Communication, Stanton emphasizes the importance of human interaction in fostering understanding and motivating action. Previously, Stanton held leadership roles such as Chairman of PR World Alliance and Vice President at MSL/Publicis, where responsibilities included legislative and policy communication. Early career experiences include media relations at the University of Maryland and serving as Director of Public Information for the Maryland Energy Policy Office. Stanton holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland.
