Ben Young

Ben Young is an experienced energy trader with a background in derivatives broking and pricing analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Trader at Stanwell Corporation Limited since August 2022, Ben previously held the position of Energy Trader at the same company from December 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included contracts trading to hedge generation and retail books. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Derivatives Broker at Tradition Securities and Futures, specializing in Australian Power swaps and options. Ben began the career as a Junior Broker in energy derivatives at Stanwell Corporation Limited and gained valuable experience as a Product and Pricing Analyst at ERM Power, where the focus was on managing customer pricing requests across various energy markets. Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Mathematics from The University of Queensland and completed high school education at St Peters Guildford.
