- Responsible for managing all exploration, mine planning, and contract management aspects of a large-scale surface coal operation.

Bob Gallagher's education history begins in 1977 when they attended Brisbane State High School and obtained a Senior High School Certificate. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at The University of Queensland in 1982 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors in Mining in 1985.

Following their undergraduate studies, Bob Gallagher pursued further education at UNSW from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Mining Geomechanics.

In addition to their formal education, Bob Gallagher has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include Mining Supervisor (S1, 2, 3) from NOST - National On Site Training, First Aid certification from HealthCorp Pty Ltd, and Standard 11 - Generic Surface Mining Induction from OHSA Occupational Health Services Australia. Bob also holds Queensland Coal Mine Worker Health Screening (CMWHS) clearance from Resile Pty Ltd.

Furthermore, Bob Gallagher has completed several courses to enhance their skills and knowledge. Bob has completed courses such as Apply risk management processes, Conduct safety and health investigations, and Communicate information from TAFE Queensland. Bob also completed CNSC1 : Spontaneous Combustion Course For Mine Workers from SIMTARS, Queensland, and Operational Risk Assessment from MineRisk Pty Ltd.

Bob Gallagher holds a Queensland 1st Class Unrestricted Coal Mine Manager's Certificate Of Competency & Registration For Use In NSW under the Mutual Recognition Act 1992 from Queensland Government : Board Of Examiners, NSW Department Of Mineral Resources. Bob also obtained a Queensland 2nd Class Unrestricted Coal Mine Manager's Certificate Of Competency from Queensland Government - Board Of Examiners.

Bob Gallagher's passion for teaching is evident through their completion of the instructional skills course, CN404, from Central Highlands College Of TAFE. Additionally, they have obtained a Mines Rescue Certificate Of Competency from Queensland Mines Rescue.

Recently, in October 2021, Bob Gallagher obtained HLTAID009 certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation from Host Safety and Training - RTO 40772.
