Matthew Jagger

Matthew Jagger has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matthew currently serves as the Head of Project Execution at Stanwell Corporation Limited since July 2023, leading the implementation of various projects. Before that, Matthew worked at Incitec Pivot Limited as a Project Lead from October 2020 to March 2022, successfully managing a range of sustaining projects.

In 2019, Matthew took a sabbatical, during which they focused on personal development and completed courses in Agile Project Management and Design Thinking for Innovation. Prior to their sabbatical, they held the position of Director Projects at Peabody Energy from June 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they led a projects team responsible for the development and delivery of a significant capital program.

From September 2014 to May 2018, Matthew served as the Head of Project Portfolio, APAC at LafargeHolcim, where they played a crucial role in setting the regional strategy for capital and managing capital allocation. Before joining LafargeHolcim, they worked at Holcim as a Project Director, overseeing the design and construction of a greenfield manufacturing facility.

Matthew's earlier career includes roles at Cement Australia, where they served as the Group Projects & Engineering Manager, responsible for delivering major capital projects, and Queensland Rail, where they held the position of Commercial Manager - Rollingstock Overhaul & Maintenance.
