Stefano Odorico has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Stefano began their career as a Maintenance Planner at Keppel Engineering Services, where they were responsible for planning and scheduling daily work for the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) maintenance team. Stefano then transitioned to a Project Engineer role at the same company, focusing on various projects for the CHPP as well as other areas of the coal mine.

In 2001, Stefano joined Bechtel Corporation as a Construction Project Engineer, working on the Stuart Oil Shale Project. Their responsibilities included ensuring construction packs were followed correctly, addressing technical issues, and liaising with construction supervisors.

After their time at Bechtel, Stefano joined Stanwell Corporation Limited as a Mechanical Plant Engineer, providing engineering support to a multi-discipline Maintenance Team at the Stanwell Power Station. Stefano played a key role in developing and implementing plant asset production/maintenance strategies.

In 2014, Stefano worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a consultancy called Joncris Sentinel Services, where they wrote procedures, risk assessments, and training material to support a new underground coal mine. Stefano also conducted Bowtie Risk Analysis.

Stefano returned to Bechtel Corporation in 2014 as a Physical Labelling Co-Ordinator, Superintendent, and Field Engineer. Stefano managed the installation of 200,000 mechanical, piping, electrical, and fire protection labels for a liquefied natural gas plant, ensuring installation accuracy and quality to enable safe plant operation.

In 2017, Stefano joined Rio Tinto as a Project Engineer, leading various capital projects approved in the budget. This involved developing, justifying, tendering, planning, and executing projects while working closely with operational personnel to ensure safe project delivery.

Most recently, Stefano Odorico has been working as a Site Mechanical Engineer at Stanwell Corporation Limited, providing support at the Mica Creek Power Station. Stefano has been responsible for all aspects of engineering and has supported the Return to Service Programs for units in an extended lay-up situation.

Stefano Odorico obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from CQUniversity in 1995. Additionally, they have a certification called White Construction Card, but there is no available information regarding the institution or when it was obtained.
