I’m Jo Loveridge, and I run Starboard - a freelance web studio that designs and builds beautiful, user-friendly websites for agencies and businesses across the UK (and beyond).

With nearly two decades of experience in web design and development, I bring senior-level expertise without the agency overhead. I specialise in:

- Front-end development (HTML, SCSS, JavaScript)
- Custom WordPress builds using ACF & Gutenberg
- UX & UI design in Figma
- Accessible, scalable websites that perform beautifully
- White-label support for agencies needing a reliable dev

Whether you're a creative agency in need of pixel-perfect development or a business looking for a complete website solution, I make the process stress-free and efficient, with clear communication every step of the way.

I work solo but not alone. I collaborate with trusted freelance specialists when projects call for additional expertise, hand-picking the right team to fit each brief. No confusing handovers, no layers of account management. Just clean code, creative thinking, and a partner you can trust.

I’ve worked with organisations of all sizes, from the University of Portsmouth to Sony Music, and I’m also the founder of Portsmouth Freelancers Meet, a long-running community for local creatives.

Let’s connect if you need:

- A freelance developer or designer for your next web project
- Support with your WordPress site or front-end build
- A white-label partner to integrate into your agency team
- Someone who just gets the web - and gets things done
