Daniel Tobin

Daniel Tobin is a seasoned security leader with over fifteen years of experience in building security programs and protecting networks, systems, and information assets. They currently serve as a Senior Security Engineer at Starbucks and previously held the role of Security Lead at Render, where they established strategic roadmaps and successfully delivered SOC 2 Type 2 reports with zero exceptions. Daniel's educational background includes a Master of Science in Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree from Drexel University. They have also contributed to the cybersecurity community as a co-founder and chair of Philly CHI, the local chapter of ACM SIG CHI.
